Mariam Kamshad
Head Of Portfolio Strategy And Investments For Workplace And Personal WealthMariam is a senior member of the Investment Strategy Group and head of Portfolio Strategy and Investments for Workplace and Personal Wealth (WPW). In this role, she oversees the WPW Investments client and advisory facing teams and is responsible for delivering the firm’s thinking on asset allocation, financial markets, and portfolio construction to clients. Mariam also serves as vice president and chief investment officer of the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund and the Ayco Charitable Foundation. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 and was named managing director in 2010.
Prior to joining the firm, Mariam was a national account manager in the Strategic Relations Group at Lord Abbett Asset Management. Earlier, she spent 11 years in numerous sales and management positions within Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in New York and Merrill Lynch International in London.
Mariam earned a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and administration from the University of London.
