Adam Hills

Managing Director

Adam is head of Corporate Growth, Strategy and Partnerships for Consumer and Wealth Management Workplace Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for the growth, expansion and oversight of the corporate-sponsored Financial Management, Financial Wellness and Survivor Support programs, as well as market strategy, key institutional relationships, joint ventures and partnership development.

Prior to his current role, Adam was senior vice president and head of Ayco Planning, Ayco’s mid-tier financial counseling service, and Survivor Support businesses. Before that, he was co-head of the Ayco Financial Wellness business for all employee populations, as well as head of Ayco Brand Strategy, and co-head of Digital Business Strategy, responsible for formulating Ayco’s digital strategy across businesses and firm initiatives. Earlier in his career, Adam was a vice president in Ayco’s Corporate Development Group, focusing on creating sales and marketing strategies and enhancing sales operations. He also spent 10 years in the Legal department, leading legal support for firmwide initiatives and regulatory activities. Adam joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as associate general counsel and was named managing director in conjunction with Ayco’s full integration with Goldman Sachs in 2021.

Prior to joining the firm, Adam practiced law at Holland & Knight LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions.

Adam has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a JD from William & Mary School of Law.
