Gary R. Mitchell, Seattle, supervises the portfolio management, research and trading functions at the Seattle office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs. He is actively involved in the management of portfolios and customization of strategies to accomplish the investment goals of clients.

Gary has over 26 years of experience in the investment management and banking business. He began his career with Waddell & Reed Inc., followed by five years with Rainier/Security Pacific Bank in Private Banking. Gary joined Paragon Investment Management, which is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, in 1991.

He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 1993 and received an MBA from Seattle University. Gary is also a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Seattle.
