Catherine Humbert, CFA, CFP®
Vice President, Co-Head Of Office, SeattleCatherine Humbert, Seattle, is responsible for managing investment portfolios and working closely with clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans at the Seattle office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Asset & Wealth Management business of Goldman Sachs. She is passionate about helping clients find creative solutions to balance their unique life goals with investment and wealth management needs.
As the daughter of two investment professionals, Catherine grew up in the family business. She has served in many capacities since joining Paragon Investment Management, now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, in 1999. Starting her career on the municipal bond trading desk, Catherine’s role expanded to include credit analysis and fixed income portfolio management. She also managed the office’s financial affairs until she transitioned to client interface, financial planning and her current role as client advisor.
Catherine received a Bachelor in Economics degree from Pomona College. Her studies included a year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Strasbourg, France. She also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2002 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). Additionally, Catherine is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Seattle.
A Seattle native and fluent French speaker, Catherine enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband. She can be found running, skiing, or cheering for her two children at swim meets and soccer games. She also serves on the Advisory Board of several local non-profits.
