Steve Payne, Torrey Pines, primarily focuses on developing and implementing financial strategies for clients at the San Diego office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs.

As a financial advisor for more than 25 years in Southern California, Steve has helped many clients with their goals to ultimately live the lives they want.

Steve graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He later earned his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) in 1998.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Steve moved to San Diego with his wife in 1995 and started a family. Together, they have three children, all currently in college. As an avid sports fan, Steve supports the Padres and Chargers, while his wife has remained a loyal Dodgers fan. His great love of music spans a wide variety, from jazz and blues to classical symphonies. He also enjoys swimming, golf, and playing guitar in a local band.
