Gregory Powers, CFP®, ChFC®VICE PRESIDENT, CO-HEAD OF OFFICE
Greg Powers specializes in personal financial analysis and strategic planning for clients at the San Diego - La Jolla and Scottsdale - North offices of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. He possesses a broad understanding of and substantial experience in portfolio management, investment consulting, retirement income planning and risk management strategies.
Greg began his career as a retirement plan specialist with Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS). Since that time, he has worked for Commonwealth Financial Network and MML Investor Services, Inc., joining what is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management in 2010.
Greg attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, earning a B.A. in Economics in 1999. Throughout his career, he has received multiple financial planning certifications, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).
Greg resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife Lindsay and two young daughters.
