Vice President, Co-Head Of Office, San DiegoGreg Powers, San Diego, specializes in personal financial analysis and strategic planning for clients at the San Diego and Scottsdale offices of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Asset & Wealth Management business of Goldman Sachs. He possesses substantial understanding, experience, and expertise in portfolio management, investment consulting, trust and estate planning, retirement income planning, and risk management strategies.
Greg began his career as a retirement plan specialist with Massachusetts Financial Services in 1999. Since that time, he has worked for Commonwealth Financial Network and MML Investor Services, Inc., joining what is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management in 2010.
Greg attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, earning a B.A. in Economics in 1999. Throughout his career, he has received multiple financial planning certifications, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).
Greg resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and three young daughters. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, taking family vacations, and watching his girls learn to swim.
