Prior to joining Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management in 2012, Jeff was a Senior Adviser for over ten years with Schultz Collins Lawson Chambers, Inc., an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, where he advised and worked with individuals, families, foundations and corporations. His areas of experience included asset allocation modeling and implementation, alternative investments (including Real Estate, Hedge Funds and Private Equity), as well as traditional equity and fixed income strategies. Jeff began his financial services career at The Franklin Templeton Group in 1991 and he also worked for four years at Robertson Stephens Investment Management, and for Goldman Sachs (during his first tenure) for two years.
Jeff holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and received his MBA from The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Upon Jeff's graduation from Dartmouth, he played a year of professional tennis, competing in the United States, Europe and Asia and achieved an Association of Tennis Professionals world doubles ranking. Jeff was also a member of the Squaw Valley National Ski Patrol for seven years.
Jeff was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, recently he and his family relocated to Bend, Oregon in 2020. In his free time, Jeff enjoys skiing (all kinds), pickle ball, mountain biking, hiking, an occasional round of golf and spending time with his wife and four children.
