Eric Lee, Rapid City, advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation at the Rapid City office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs.
A second-generation adviser, Eric was raised around the investment business and has more than two decades of experience in financial services. After nine years as a Financial Advisor, Eric resigned from Merrill Lynch and the traditional brokerage business in 2001 to found Purple Wealth (formerly known as KT Investment Advisors) because he believed that objective, unbiased financial guidance is a fundamental need for everyone. His practice later became part of United Capital, which is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management.
Eric graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1990.
In addition to his professional activities, he has been an active volunteer in the community, previously serving as President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills, a Board Member of the United Way of the Black Hills and Treasurer for Black Hills Rapids Soccer Club, among other roles. Eric and his wife Terri have two middle-school-age daughters.
