Rian Waterman, CFA®
Vice President, MolineRian Waterman, Moline, focuses on helping each client create and implement a financial plan that is unique to their circumstances at the Quad Cities and Rockford offices of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Asset & Wealth Management business of Goldman Sachs. Rian has extensive experience assisting clients with financial planning, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and initial and ongoing manager due diligence. He is intimately aware of the challenges they face.
Previously, Rian was in the private practice of law for nearly a decade, where his focus was in securities law, mergers & acquisitions, complex estate planning, and trust administration.
Rian earned a B.A. in Philosophy with magna cum laude honors from New York University and a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. He is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa and CFA Society of Chicago and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Rian lives in Davenport, Iowa, with his wife and two children. He is active in the Quad Cities community, currently serving on the Boards of the Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities and the Quad City Montessori School. He previously served on the Boards of the Putnam Museum and Science Center, Rivermont Collegiate, and Midcoast Fine Arts.
