James Piangozza, Long Island, advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation at the Long Island Metro office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Asset & Wealth Management business of Goldman Sachs.

His tenure in financial services began in 1995, initially with Tower Square Securities, Inc. (a Travelers and then a Citigroup subsidiary), and later PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has experience with overseeing the investment management process, including asset allocation policy, security analysis and construction of portfolio strategies. Prior to joining what is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, James was the Chief Investment Officer for Total Financial Advisors, LLC, and a Principal in the firm.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. James has also been a CFA® Charterholder since 2006 and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional since 2009.
