Tim Long, River Mountain, focuses on helping each client create and implement a financial plan that is unique to their circumstances at the Little Rock office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. In an additional role, he provides employee education and counseling to employer retirement plan participants.

Tim began his career in financial services, assisting clients as a Financial Adviser with an international firm. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he served as a Logistics Officer for the United States Marine Corps in the U.S. and Okinawa, Japan.

Tim received a B.A. in English Literature with Cum Laude honors from the University of Notre Dame and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has served on the board of the FPA of Arkansas.

Outside the office, Tim is an avid distance cyclist and has completed many century (100-mile) and metric century (62-mile) events. He lives in Maumelle, Arkansas, with his wife Jenny and their dogs. Tim also serves on various boards in his local community.
