Amanda joined what is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management in 2005 from Aflac, which provided her with a background in the insurance industry. This experience, coupled with her life events, inspired her to choose a profession to guide people through their own financial plans and help them achieve their goals.
She became especially aware of the issues navigating through financial obstacles after losing her mother from cancer in 2000 and then helping her father through the emotional and financial hurdles their family faced during that time. This significant and life-changing event created a calling to help prepare and guide others through similar challenges.
Amanda received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Amanda is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) Houston Chapter.
She currently resides in the Cypress area with her husband and their children. They like to spend their free time hiking, camping, and going on road trips all over the US.
