Richard Chase, CPA, PFS
Vice President, Co-Head Of Office, HolyokeRichard “Rich” Chase, Holyoke, primarily focuses on financial and investment planning at the Holyoke office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Asset & Wealth Management business of Goldman Sachs. Day-to-day, Rich advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation and asset preservation.
Rich is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 35 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs Financial Management, Richard was a Managing Director of United Capital Financial Advisers. Previous to his role with United Capital, he was the Founder and President of Family Wealth Management and a Partner at a large regional CPA firm in New England.
Rich received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Boston University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He received his MBA from the University of Southern California. Rich has also earned his Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
When he’s not working, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing and working out in the gym and swimming pool. In his younger days, he spent seven weeks bicycling cross-country from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Community service is also important to Rich, having been involved with several volunteer nonprofit organizations, including the Jimmy Fund, Jewish Geriatric Services Inc. and many other community agencies.
