Joey Benson joins the Anderson office at Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs, as the newest Wealth Manager for the Carolinas. Joey helps clients live their one best financial life by creating specialized financial plans that seek to understand the client’s unique circumstances, identify the client’s priorities and goals, and implement tailored investment solutions to not only help achieve those goals, but to also give clients peace of mind.

Joey is a recent graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated magna cum laude and earned his Master’s of Business Administration in International Business, as well as his Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management Certificate. While in D.C., Joey also worked for an IT and Management Consulting Firm where he focused on client optimization within the financial services sector. Joey is also a graduate of Clemson University, where he studied both business and sociology.

Outside of the office, Joey enjoys traveling with his fiancé, Asheton, attending Clemson football games, and playing with his golden retriever puppy.
