Jeffrey A. Hawkins, MBAVICE PRESIDENT
Prior to joining United Capital in 2012, Jeff A. Hawkins was a Senior Adviser for 10 years with Schultz Collins Lawson Chambers, Inc., where he advised individuals, families, foundations and corporations on over $200 million and 40 relationships. Jeff was also an adviser with the Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management Group, where he focused on both taxable and tax-exempt accounts for individuals and families. His areas of experience included sophisticated asset allocation modeling and implementation, alternative investments (including Real Estate, Hedge Funds and Private Equity), as well as traditional equity and fixed income strategies. His previous work experience includes four years with Robertson Stephens Investment Management (RSIM), where Jeff both sold the Robertson Stephens Funds and provided investment advice to individual investors. Jeff also served as the Media/Public Relations Director for RSIM and served as the firm's delegate to the Investment Company Institute (ICI) in Washington, D.C. Jeff began his financial services career at The Franklin Templeton Group in 1991.
Jeff holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and received his MBA from The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Upon Jeff's graduation from Dartmouth and four years of varsity tennis, where during his senior year he was the team captain, he played a year of professional tennis, competing in the United States, Europe and Asia and achieved an Association of Tennis Professionals world doubles ranking. Jeff was also a member of the Squaw Valley National Ski Patrol for seven years.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys tennis, skiing, an occasional round of golf and spending time with his wife and four children. He also is a member of the Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary Club.
