William Swearingen

William Swearingen, II

William Swearingen, II has extensive knowledge in risk management and helping individuals accomplish the retirement goals that are most important to them, with particular experience and assistance centered on helping energy executives make better decisions within their corporate Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). One of the foundations of his investment ideologies originated from meeting David Swensen, Yale University’s Chief Investment Officer, nearly 13 years ago. William continues to study and follow the academic and philosophical ideals of successful endowments.

William’s focus on the Energy Sector began in the early 1990s, when oil was trading below $20 per barrel. His attraction to the sector was the people, good salt of the earth people who dominate the oil patch like no other industry on the planet. Although many may be highly skilled and compensated today, they’re humble people who started off in the trenches and worked their way up. Many are high-net-worth individuals – without an ounce of pretense – who enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and motor sports. We both share these common interests and appreciate hard work and integrity.

William also enjoys watching his 14 year-old son play guitar and his 9 year-old son play soccer. William and his wife, Priscila, have been married 14 years and enjoy most all outdoor activities.
