Janet Kohrmann, CFP®VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER
Janet Kohrmann is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Carlsbad office of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, within the Consumer and Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. She provides operational oversight for the completion of all client services, new business, accounting, staff deployment and office management.
Early on in her career, Janet was recruited by TIAA-CREF and was enlisted to work in their high-net-worth division. She focused on designing and implementing executive benefit programs for Fortune 500 companies. She also spent a year writing and developing a required consumer education program. Before joining Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, Janet was a valued member of a local boutique investment adviser firm, providing comprehensive financial planning for its clients. She also handled complete accounting and oversight services for the firm.
Janet attained her business degree and started in finance by providing extensive accounting services for firms in various industries. She earned her CFP certification. She previously served on the board of the Executive Women International (EWI)-San Diego and various committees for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) to help broadened Janet’s wealth of knowledge and industry insiders.
A native San Diegan, Janet is an accomplished equestrian and once worked as a pack guide leading trips into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Colorado. Janet relishes the time spent with her horses. She is an avid reader, hiker and loves camping and traveling to our national parks.
