Today we’re examining current trends in US high-frequency growth measures on mobility and credit card data, as well as debit card utilization and mortgage applications.

Kara Murphy is the former Chief Investment Officer for Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management. Prior to joining the firm she was Chief Investment Officer at SunAmerica Asset Management, LLC, an AIG subsidiary. During her tenure as CIO, SunAmerica became one of the fastest-growing asset managers in the industry.

Kara is a proud alum of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and the University of Chicago. She is a CFA charter-holder, a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and a member of the New York Society of Quantitative Analysts. She serves on the board of directors for Grace Outreach, a non-profit organization which provides educational and career training for women in the Bronx, NY. She also started an all-volunteer organization called Welcome Home, which provides support for newly resettled refugees.
